Allen B. Wilson "Tonto" 1945-2005

Allen B. Wilson, 59, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Harrisburg Hospital, with family and friends at his bedside.

Born in Mount Union, PA, he was the son of Josephine Wilson.
Allen was a graduate of the former William Penn Senior High School, and graduated with a Masters Degree in Human Services from Lincoln University.

Allen loved and served the Lord. He was an Associate Pastor and Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor at DaySpring Ministries. He was a past employee of Gaudenzia, Inc. and Rejoice, Inc. He diligently served his community and his church as a substance abuse counselor.

Allen will be remembered always for his wonderful smile and sense of humor; but, most of all, for his love of the Lord, family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Josephine, he is survived by his loving wife, Trudy D. Wilson; six children, Michael Glass, Mark Knight, Angela Wilson, Rachel Wilson, Monica Perez and Jalani Wilson, all of Harrisburg; one sister, Blonzella Brackett of Atlanta, GA; one nephew and one niece; eleven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life and passing will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 28, 2005, at DaySpring Ministries, 1600 Spring Garden Drive, Middletown, PA, with Dr. Clifford Ashe III officiating. Viewing/visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
